Posted on October 5 2012

In France, the school is mandatory as from 6 years old. But we can start school between 3 and 6 years old. In France, we go to school with the our clothes, we don't have to wear uniforms. The school start at 8 a.m and finish between 4 and 5 p.m. In France, we learn English and Spanish. We have two breaks, once the morning and once the afternoon. We lunch at 12 o'clock of 1 hour.
The English starts the school as from 3 years old. The primary school last 7 years in England instead of 5 years in France. In England the CP : year 1, the CE1 : year 2 … In maternel, they learn to write and to read. The English don't repeat a year. The Reception → Grande section. In England, they must wear a unifom because in France, we can wear the clothes we want. The English starts the class in 9 a.m and they finish the class in 16 p.m.
